At that time, Harris CapRock had 2 teleports in Macaé RJ Brazil (major Brazilian onshore base for offshore international operations, related to CAMPOS basin) in order to support a variety of telecom satellite services, using 3rd-part satellites, mostly from SES and INTELSAT.

Nowadays, CapRock telecom offshore is no longer a part of Harris (www.haris.com), as it was sold to SpeedCast in 2016.
