Juliana Merege holds a bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering from UFRJ (Federal University of Rio de Janeiro). Her education background includes 2 terms at École Polytechnique de Montréal, a leading institution for STEM in Canada.

Most recently, Juliana was a Production and Facility Manager at White Martins (Linde Group) and Messer, both in the segment of Industrial and Medicinal Gases, leading teams of about 30 members, always in strategic logistics hubs.

Skilled in Project Management, Lean Six-Sigma, KPI management, Process Safety, Supply Chain, Risk Assessment, and basic financial analysis, all regarding chemical industries.

Before graduation, Juliana was a technical safety intern at Shell Maritime (Offshore)l for 2 years and holds 3 Shell Recognition Awards for her contribution in HSSE (Health, Safety, Security and Environment). While in Montreal, she worked at a biochemical lab at Université de Montréal, as a research assistant.

The passion for languages led her to learn four, in addition to native Portuguese: English, French, German and Spanish. And Swedish may be the next goal!
